| Music : G.V.Prakash |
For the first time, Selvaraghavan opts for another musician and it was really a great anticipation out for the musical release. Indeed, G.V. Prakash has scored unheard genres utilizing the best instruments from various regions. As a matter of fact, the song has been recorded in various parts of the World.
Oh Eesa
Karthik, Andrea Jeremiah
Well, on the CD Cover's we find a tagline for this song "Composer's Mix". Perfect, G.V. Prakash strikes the best chords adding best on the beats as well the orchestrations of vocals as well the instrumentation. Sounds quite similar to one of the Ilayaraja`s yesteryear compositions and it are easier to spot the features. Similarities and Actress Andrea has crooned the song. It`s a double take for Andrea as she has penned the lyrics joining hands with Selvaraghavan.
Maalai Neram
Andrea
Looks like Selvaraghavan had the idea of about titling his next film with "Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam" as he penned these lyrics inspired from "Sitthar Padalgal". And again, it`s realms of Ilayaraja as the tune takes us to the classical song "Kodaikaala Kaatre". The song has mesmerizing tunes and G.V. Prakash has the guitars running throughout the song.
Un Mela Aasadhan
Dhanush, Aishwarya Dhanush and Andrea
It's a kind of peppy folk beat song with the rhythms on R&B with high bass. Actor Dhanush hasn`t strained himself and just spells his raw voices without caring for any modulations. However, Aishwarya Rai and Andrea are so sassy in their takes. With our presumptions are right, then this song is sure to be responded with more whistles and claps in theatres. Predominantly, GV Prakash has gone with the style of Yuvan`s `Adada` from Sarvam.
The King Arrives
Performed by Neil Mukherji and Madras Augustin Choir
The signature theme has a bombastic effect on heavy guitar and percussions. If you've got a good sound system, for the next 180seconds you'll have a fantastic experience.
Thai Thindra Mannae (The Cholan Ecstasy)
Vijay Yesudas, Nithyasree Mahadevan and Shri Krishna
Best pick from the musical album. It makes us really wonder how this chap hadn't spelled such an awe inspiring tunes in the past. The song has singers crooning with the Telugu Malayalam's perfect modulation as the genre hopskips vividly. It's a complete show by singers with fill ins on re recording making it sound more appealing. Perhaps, it will create more sensation with spellbinding visuals canned by Ramji. The song carries the lyrical lines with three different languages Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
Permannae
P.B. Srinivas, Bombay Jayashree and Chorus
It sounds almost like lamentations of crowds who are so distressed with the havoc caused in their motherland and yet don`t want to move away from their nativity. The exceptional instruments and percussions are more attention grabbing while Bombay Jayashree has more scope on show and P.B. Srinivas has his portions merely during last few minutes.
Celebration of Life
Performed by Naveen
Starts off slowly with melodious flute and later hop skips into different genre "Dandiya" style. Our special recommendation is to load this song into your I pods and mobiles.
Thai Thindra Manne (Classical Version)
Vijay Yesudas
The song has a different touch in terms of genre. Not too many percussions and instrumentations. It's purely Vijay Yesudas`s show and he goes for completely a rocking show with vocalisms.
Indha Paadhai
G.V. Prakash
The song is pictured on Karthi and G.V. Prakash himself as crooned for the song. The lyrics by Selvaraghavan`s take on a character that goes on an adventure unknowing the next step.
Oh Eesa Club Mix
Bigg Nick
The first number's remix version will go straight onto the disco floors.
On the whole, "Aayirathil Oruvan" has more collections of various genres and G.V. Prakash has done a marvelous job. So, don't wait for anymore and buy the original copies on CDs and DVD`s (More special features) for the best quality sounds.
Verdict: Must listen too
