Followed his last release "Bheema", Director Linguswamy has been on the Pursuit of coming up with a fantastic story. Finally, after vivid ground works and discussions, he has geared up with "Paiyya" that happens to be carrying a grand commercial concept. Well, first and foremost let`s start with the film`s synopsis. Although, the filmmaker hasn't revealed anything about it, closer sources have spread the buzzes pertaining to it.

According to them, the entire story takes place on a highway journey from Bangalore to Mumbai (Konkan Highway) that's brimmed with lots and lots of beautiful locales.

Fine Doesn't that sound like Hollywood's "Hitcher" Maybe, Linguswamy is inspired out by it. However, things aren`t confirmed till now.

Actor Surya's brother Karthi who shot to fame with his "Paruthiveeran" dons the lead role while Tamannaah as his ladylove. Milind Soman who made a top notching performance in Gautham Menon`s "Pachaikili Muthucharam" would be appearing again as a baddie over here while Sonia Deepti of Telugu Movie "Happy Days" fame has a dominant role to perform here.

The first schedule of filming commenced in Bangalore with a song "Thuli Thuli" penned by Na. Muthukumar. Yuvan Shankar Raja has already completed tuning melodies for the film.
