It`s not just the success, but `Dasavatharam` has shored Aascar Ravichandran on the grounds of everlasting happiness. V. Ravichandran has been a producer who doesn`t churn out his flicks for big star casts and top charting filmmakers. He deeply believes in script with the motto of `Content is King` and that's more evident with his `Rojakootam`.
Similarly, he is gearing up for a genre of romance presented by a new team of young potentials. Well, `Leelai` is a film that has romance depicted with new dimension and so says the debutant Andrew Louis wields megaphone for this film. The young lad has been assisting S.J. Suryah for various super hit films and now his script has admired producer Ravichandran.
Super models Shiv and Maansi are making their debut in Tamil film industry in lead roles while Santhanam, Suhasini, Maaya and many others would be performing prominent roles in the film. Satish Chakravarthy in the past had played various instruments for musical maestro `A.R. Rahman` and he makes his debut tuning in melodies for the film.
Remember that duo combo S.J. Suryah and A.R. Rahman have churned out musical blockbusters with `New` and `A Aa`. So, lots of expectations on their proteges.
Again, there's another debutant Edward handling editing works of shots captured by cinematographer Velraj who shot to fame with his `Polladhavan`.
Speaking about the film Director Andrew Louis is so excited speaking about the film, "It's completely of romance but with difference. Not just multiplex audiences would love it, but the ones in villages and towns too". It's the tale of a young lad and missy working as a software engineer at HCL falling in love. "The one-line may seem to be cliched, but the screenplay will make the audiences get fixed on the screens throughout the show".
The highlighting part of film would be the shots of locales in Chennai. Both Director and Cinematographer haven't tried new on capturing the locations from outside, but in Chennai itself. Sources have assured that the shots canned here in Chennai and none have captured them before. Even the producer himself was surprised to see the locations and wondered whether it was Chennai. Half the portion of film is shot inside HCL where even camera mobiles would be allowed. Special permission was sought and after several requests, permission was granted.
Brinda and Nagendra Prasad have choreographed for all the songs. Shooting for the film is almost completed and audio will hit the stores somewhere in the middle of this month and release date is yet to be confirmed by producer Aascar Ravichandran.
