Get the "Drift" …

“Drift” is a one-stop-shop to nourish the mind, body and spirit…

This stylish, understated restaurant at the Epicentre is imaginatively called “Drift.” A unique concept, where one can nourish the soul seated on zen style, low furniture amidst large pieces of driftwood with numerous tea lights glowing on them, and also satiate the needs of the stomach with its imaginative selection of world cuisine favourites.

One can actually drift in after an art opening, a musical soiree or a play, if you’re a theater buff, into this 74 seater restaurant which has happy days on Mondays and Tuesdays (buy one drink and get one free) though Wednesday-Sunday happy hours last from 12 noon to 8 pm. On Wednesday nights a live band drifts in to belt out popular rock music accompanied by the best of Indian, Oriental and Western cuisine and beverages, all available at a 20% discount.

Other than this they regularly have food festivals dishing up fare usually available only at their group of restaurants in Delhi. The most recent one from the “Kitchens of Chor Bizarre” had a delectable array of Kashmiri delicacies Tabak Maas, Goshtaba, Gazab ka Tikka etc. The list of awards that “Drift” has won, comes as no surprise! It has won Best Italian food- Times Food Guide 2009, New Restaurant- Times Food Guide 2009, Best Continental/European- HT City Eating out guide and Best Sunday Brunch- HT City Eating out Guide

Best known for its Sunday brunches, “Drift” offers some great Indian, Continental and American fare.  Feast on freshly baked bread, buns and croissants, eggs to order, paprika marinated fish, pancakes smothered in maple syrup, a selection of parathas, live pasta counter, char-grilled chicken with litchi curry mayo and desserts galore. It’s wise to make a reservation…
