Glamour Reinvented

What’s the glamour quotient this season? Find out more…

Glamour is all about seduction! This season glamour is a world of metallic and matte textures, blushing rose for the cheeks and nude lips. Sensual gold rubs shoulders with jewel tones when it comes to glamour for the eyes. Dramatic is synonymous with eye make-up this season.

Smoothen a glide-on foundation, sweeping it with fingertips across the face and neck. Dust some loose powder to ensure your foundation stays in place all-day. Lakme’s face sheer, Desert Rose can be dusted lightly across the cheeks to add a natural glow to your face. For the evening pick a good blusher and sweep across the cheekbones deftly.

Smoky eyes are hot! Smudge charcoal shadow on the eyelid with fingertips till well-blended. Soften the look and add sheen with a smudge of silver eye shadow. Use a glide on eyeliner on the upper and lower lid to define the eyes. Add the finishing touch with waterproof mascara. For a night-out, choose gold eye shadow and blend it well with bronze (try Topaz by Lakme).

Define and fill lips with smudge-proof lip colour. Use nude shades for the day and fill the lips with metallic copper or wine for the night. A luscious lip gloss will give your lips volume and give you a natural pout!

Give your nails a coat of warm colours, for this season. Reputed brands include Revlon, Street wear and Lakme.Pick from the array available: deep plums, sienna red, terracotta, burnt orange, hot chocolate etc.
