Noritake remains synonymous with fine china! Check out what their Chennai showroom has to offer.
The Noritake showroom is artistically done up and sits pretty on the first floor. Airy, spacious and replete with fine china, it is a dream for anyone who keeps a good table. What distinguishes Noritake from other china is the fact that it comes with pure 24 karat gold or platinum edging on every piece of the table setting. These of course, require careful handling and cannot be used in the microwave.
Exclusively made in Japan and Sri Lanka, there are five Noritake stores across India. The china from Sri Lanka is more affordable and extremely popular with the Indian clientele. You could buy a Sri Lankan tea set made of porcelain for Rs. 38000, while a bone china tea set from Japan would set you back by approximately Rs. 45000.The showroom offers close to 75 designs for you to take your pick from. The standard dinner setting is for 12 people, but they are open to customize it for you, whether you want it for 8 or 20. Another feather in their cap is that you can replenish your broken crockery with additional pieces or just add to your collection! Invariably you will need to place an order for the selected design and it will shipped out from their factories within 2-3 months.
They also offer a hardy range of table ware that is both dishwasher and microwave safe, aptly titled Ambience. This recent introduction is to keep up with modern lifestyles and demand. Also on display are slender vases and curios to complement your table setting. They will soon be launching their cutlery range, made of silver and nickel. Also, watch out for their range of crystal glasses from champagne flutes and wine goblets to cognac balloons and water glasses.

Nothing is more alluring than a well-set table! With Noritake, you just can’t go wrong. A perfect table setting can sometimes act as the perfect appetizer, and Noritake definitely adds class, style and élan! Crisp white linen and polished silver forms the backdrop.
