The newest coffee shop in town, High on Caffeine is a treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. And the gaming freaks have just got the reason to cheer!

With a menu filled with caffeinated drinks, juices, shakes and bites like pizza and burgers; this coffee shop is the perfect place for that weekend unwinds plan with friends or that family get-together. Located ideally in the Mitsubishi showroom, Adyar, the place is a visual treat for all the motor heads in town with its automobile graffiti. Infact, we were pleasantly surprised by an array of automakers logo painted at the entrance.

There is also a pool table, a couple of foosball tables and a Sony PlayStation 3 for the gaming enthusiasts out there.

The food is great, comprising of pizzas and burgers. We had a chilly cheese pizza and it was simply a delight. The games, we felt were a bit expensive at a half-an-hourly basis.

The overall ambience of the coffee shop was what the teenagers would call cool and peppy. HOC also has HOC Challenger Trophy coming up on the 20th of December, an indoor gameathon, featuring all three games. The gameathon starts at 3 PM. So, mark your calendars and postpone all your meetings – you know the place to be this Saturday.
