The
Shakti Foundation, in its endeavour towards integrating the physically
challenged into mainstream society and providing quality medicare to the rural
underprivileged is organising its annual fund raiser for the 17 th successive
year on 23 rd February 2008. The programme TAMOGHNA 2008, synergizing music
with a meaning will have U Srinivas and U.Shrinivas & U. Rajesh on the
Mandolin, Loy on the keyboard along with Pete Lockett Percussionist from
London.
The
programme will be held at Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall, Lady Andal
School premises, Harrington Road, Chetpet and will start at 6.30 p.m .
TAMOGHNA,
in Sanskrit means ‘Destroying darkness’ and The Shakti foundation in its
journey towards removing Darkness from the lives of the underprivileged would
utilise the show proceeds towards procurement of the following equipments for
the Hospital ‘Adhi Parasakthi’ located in Chengalpet District.
